A new range of “TechnoCocktail” cocktail recipes named after some important technology concepts. The rules are strict: they only include one ingredient per letter in the word, starting with that letter. So for instance, the Byte cocktail is Blackberry liqueur, Yuzu juice, Tequila and Elderflower liqueur, spelling BYTE.
Given I work in technology (check Whizzy Ideas AI for my other blog) and also enjoy the kinds of drinks featured here on Damson Days, this seemed like a suitably random and inappropriate way to marry the two worlds.

It’s been a good challenge to figure out recipes and to find the ingredients. U is a tricky letter, but Japanese plum wine Umeshu comes to the rescue. A few D’s are handy so I can include some of my own damson recipes. The basic cocktail patterns are well described in the book Cocktail Codex by the team behind acclaimed New York cocktail bar Death & Co. And there’s still quite a few to add!
